- Sunday 9th: Pick up Tuggerah Railway Station, bus transfer to start of hike.
- Sunday 16th: Finish hike at Cowan Railway Station.
Restock/Reflection location: Kariong Scout Camp (Wednesday 12th July)
Itinerary
- Sunday 9th - Travel to Tuggerah station/bus transfer/start practice hike at Yarramalong
- Monday 10th - Hike
- Tuesday 11th - Hike
- Wednesday 12th - Finish practice, restock/reflect evening
- Thursday 13th - Morning route planning session/start Qualify hike at mid day.
- Friday 14th - Hike
- Saturday 15th - Hike
- Sunday 16th - Finish Qualify hike at Cowan station.
Inclusions
- Industry accredited organisation.
- Qualified and experienced adventure guides with first aid qualifications.
- Participant to staff ratios 12:1
- Minimum group size of 5 students.
- Support vehicle provided on each journey (where possible).
- Powerboat support for paddling sections (where possible).
- Remote area First Aid Kits and emergency communication equipment including: VHF, radios, satellite phone and satellite messenger/GPS tracker.
- FREE equipment hire: hiking backpacks, tents, mats and cooking stoves.
- Drinking water supplied at each campsite, OR as close as possible.
- Campsite bookings and National Park/State Forest day usage fees.
- Map case, map and compass supplied to each participant.
- Medical data collection and provision to staff.
- FREE preliminary training covering packing/navigation/route planning etc (face to face or via our online)
- All ORB reporting requirements.
