Wee Jasper Residential Program Exploration
5-Day Immersive Leadership & Environmental Program
Set within the rugged beauty of the Wee Jasper Valley, this 5 day residential exploration program offers a powerful opportunity for young people to step beyond the classroom and into real world learning.
Surrounded by river systems, bushland, escarpments and limestone formations, participants engage in a structured yet progressive outdoor experience designed to build leadership, resilience, independence and environmental awareness.
Program Vision & Outcomes
The Participants will benefit from:
- Fostering leadership, resilience, self-reliance and teamwork through real-world challenges.
- Encourage environmental awareness by engaging with local ecosystems, bushwalking, river study and nature reserve exploration.
- Provide structured opportunities for outdoor skills development including safe navigation, group planning, low impact camping and reflective learning.
- Strengthen community and cultural connection, honouring the land and its traditional custodians.
- Fossil exploration, connecting with local schools and communities.

Transport: Provided - Mini bus
Accommodation: Provided
Catering: Provided (bring $20 for travel meals)
Start location: Hornsby Train Station 9am
Finish location: Hornsby Train Station 3pm
Inclusions
- Industry accredited organisation.
- Qualified and experienced adventure guides with first aid qualifications.
- Remote area First aid kits and emergency communication equipment including: VHF, radios, satellite phone and satellite messenger/GPS tracker.
- FREE equipment hire: All participants are entitled to free gear hire, which includes the following items; Tent, stretcher and sleeping mat. If participants choose to bring their own gear instead of utilising the provided gear, no refunds or price reductions will be offered.
- Medical data collection and provision to staff.
- FREE preliminary training covering packing/navigation/route planning etc (face to face or via our online)
- All ORB reporting requirements.

- Personal clothing and equipment as listed on the ‘What to bring list’
**IMPORTANT INFORMATION**
If you are attending this program and are over 18 years of age, we will require a Working With Children Check number from you. There is no charge for this if you apply as a Volunteer HERE
When completing the check out process, please list your child's name in the notes section so we can allocate your payment correctly. Don't stress, if we need more info our staff will contact you.
