Adventurous Journeys 

How to enrol in a Adventurous Journey:
​Step 1: Confirm you have the correct dates and your Duke of Ed Leader has approved your Journey. 
​Step 2: Select your preferred date and add it to your shopping cart.
Step 3: Apply any coupon codes you have to receive discounts if applicable (check with your Duke of Ed Leader if unsure).
Step 4: Checkout and make payment. 

STEP 5: **VERY IMPORTANT** Check your inbox (and junk folder), on your receipt you will find a 'Consent Form', this MUST be completed before attending any Adventurous Journeys.

Location: Bouddi National Park

Activity: Hiking

Transport: Participants must organise their own transport.

Start location: 8:30am - Kincumber

Finish location: 3pm - Wagstaffe

Itinerary: You will be emailed a copy closer to the date.

Prep & Training session: Delivered online, you will be notified closer to the date.


Daily activity overview:

Day 1: Hike

Day 2: Hike

Day 3: Hike


Inclusions

  • Industry accredited organisation.
  • Qualified and experienced adventure guides with first aid qualifications.
  • Staff to participant ratios; Hiking 1:15 - Canoeing 1:12
  • Minimum group size of 8 students.
  • Support vehicle provided on each Journeys (where possible).
  • Powerboat support for paddling Journeys (where possible).
  • Remote area First Aid Kits and emergency communication equipment including: VHF, radios, satellite phone and satellite messenger/GPS tracker.
  • FREE equipment hire: All participants in the Adventurous Journey program are entitled to free gear hire, which includes the following items required for the journey; Tent (twin share), sleeping mat, hiking bag, trangia "cooking stove" (twin share). If participants choose to bring their own gear instead of utilising the provided gear, no refunds or price reductions will be offered.
  • Drinking water supplied at each campsite.
  • Campsite bookings and National Park/State Forest day usage fees.
  • Maps and compass supplied to each participant.
  • Medical data collection and provision to staff.
  • FREE briefing session at your college (Online or Face to Face)​
  • All ORB reporting requirements.
